Now it’s official. I’m proud to announce a gaming competition that will take place this summer in and around downtown IOWA. The program, which will be called “Gaming Commission for the IOWA I’M GAMBLING,” will bring together the IOWA state, IOWA community, and the IOWA gaming community and focus on innovation in gaming.
The IOWA Gaming Commission will have a goal to bring together all five of the key elements of IOWA gaming, which to date, remain only accomplished in the hands of a few individuals. A gaming competition that brings together those key players. Be sure to check out the website at www.iowa-gaming.com for more information.
A little about gaming and how it has impacted Iowan culture and culture in general: The first time there was a video game competition in Iowa, back in 2007, they were only three events, and that was because the first competition happened in 2003. As the state and Iowan communities began to enter and develop gaming, it would eventually become an industry based on local communities participating in gaming. The Iowans that come from gaming, have a tremendous level of pride in their roots and culture.
There really has not been to much activity in gaming around Iowa. The lack on gaming is a sad state-wide statement. It really just hurts the state to see the Iowans that come from gaming not able to experience it. One of the key elements that I think is the biggest barrier to success is the Iowans that come from gaming being unable to experience it. New blog: We live and die by our community. We can be a part of something great.
I have a new blog that I’ve been working on over the past few weeks. You should make sure to check it out if you don’t have your own blog! old blog: That’s it for now. Thanks for watching! old blog: It’s awesome to see Iowans working in so many different industries. That’s the next blog to be uploaded.
I have a question I think are two possible ways that an athlete could become an entrepreneur. An athlete trying to start their own company? Or an athlete trying to start an organization? Old blog: An athlete trying to start their own company. If that was me I could probably be an entrepreneur. I am not sure where those two things fit together, but I did find it interesting that once you get out there you realize you just can’t do everything right.
